How is marriage and happiness linked?
Marriage is a crucial turning point in everyone life and its effects are often too deep and emotional.

Apart from your family's advices and peer pressure, there comes a point when every individual takes some alone time to decide why he/she needs a partner in the real sense. Here are few reasons why marriage makes one happy.
  • Married people tend to be happier, more satisfied with their lives, and less depressed. They tend to be healthier, too. Marriage is, for many, a tried and true way to feel less lonely; Commit to someone for the rest of your life, and to gain a constant companion. Marriage helps a person to experience positive emotions and find deep levels of life satisfaction
  • Marriage may protect people against life's hardships by offering support and friendship from the spouse, who can serve as a friend and confidant. It is proved that married people are considerably more satisfied with their lives than unmarried folks.
  • A spouse can serve as a valued and trusted decision making partner, lowering a person's stress level.
  • It's not marriage that makes you happy, it's happy marriage that makes you happy, Married people are happier than unmarried ones, perhaps because the single best predictor of human happiness is the quality of social relationships. Naturally, happy people tend to make the best possible mates or spouses, and they create the happiest marriages. A good marriage is worth the effort.
  • Marriage gives you time to have fun and be kids again! Remaining youthful and avoiding taking oneself too seriously is an added benefit. Marriage teaches you to be as positive and optimistic as you can be. A spouse's positive attitude leads to positive behaviours and a more satisfying relationship. Marriage and happiness will go hand-in-hand for you.
  • People with strong finance enjoy better nutrition, can go places with loved ones, worry less about their children, and have more freedom to set their own schedules.
  • Happily married people report greater levels of life satisfaction than others, and marriage can really boost a person's happiness or sense of subjective wellbeing.
